When this item was opened, the Knife Blades had several scratches on them as if they had been on a display shelf or poor production manufacturing, unbelievable. The description of this product is misleading, overstated as well as overpriced for it’s Production Presentation. The description says the Knife Set is in a Beautiful Bamboo Gift Box which is far from what was expected, it was of low quality dull production with dents and dings. The Description also leads you to believe the Knifes were made in Germany since High Quality German Stainless Steel and Australian Production Technology were Utalized, the Knifes were in fact made in China which is unacceptable based upon the Culinary Expectations of the Description. The handles appeared to be Red upon purchase review but are actually an off color light Orange, nor were the handles as impressive as described. This Knife Set is not within the Quality Range of the well known German and American Culinary Knife Sets. Based upon her Professional Reputation Ms. Rachel Ray Needs to Remove her Name from this Overpriced Inferior Quality Workmanship Furi Pro Knife Set or if she chooses to continue to Endorse this Product the price needs to be Reduced and the Descripion Reworded as an Useable Low End Product Knife Set that can be purchased in Your Local Area Dollar Store. When I reading the reviews for these knives, I was a little skeptical. Then I looked at the indivual kifes, and I could not understand why they got a better user rating. So, I took a chance and purcshed the Furi Pro Rachel Ray 3-Piece Knife Set in Bamboo Gift Box. I hate to toot my own horn but it was a great investment. The knifes are well balanced and sharp. Makes cutting, slicing, and dicing a breeze. Well worth the money. Would recommend.

These knives are perfect all the way around! I love to cook but these knives make things even more fun in the kitchen. I would highly recommend this product to anyone. They are well worth every penny. I also like the fact that these knives come with a bamboo box for storage. It offers even more protection for the blades and makes caring for the knives much easier. Great product!

I was so happy to receive this set on Christmas morning! I then, however, sliced open my thumb while trying to remove those DUMB stickers from the blades. Why not use pressure-sensitive ones? The razor-sharp blades also sliced through the clear blade covers. As noted by another reviewer, the blades look cheap, dull, cheap, feel very light, and cheap! The grip feels great in my hand and is non-slip. Very disappointed with the thin, dull, light, dirty looking blades with the dorky stampings and stupidly, hard to remove stickers on the blades. For $100, the quality should be excellent. They somehow look and feel (blade) like a “made in China” (which they are) special from Wal-Mart. But, they were a gift. I will use them, once my thumb heals, and and see how they perform.
